| Description: |
Songwriter supergroup: May Ip, David Glover and Glen Hornblast together onstage at the 1995 Oakville Festival on a song by David for everyone who's ever had a favourite tune.
|
| Notes: |
Not the best recording of a rare live performance by a middle-nineties Canadian super-group featuring three of Toronto's finest songwriters, May Ip, David Glover and Glen Hornblast, recorded by portable walkman during the afternoon show.
Your Body's Groovin' is a Dave Glover tune, written for his young son and it's dedicated to everyone who has that infectious tune they just can't resist. The track features David on Guitar and vocals, May on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Glen on harmonica and a backing rhythm section with percussion master Paul Therien and Gary Murphy on dulcimer, mandolin and occasional backing vocals.
Glen is still a regular at the Free Times and Fat Alberts, Paul has gone on to a stellar career, but we've lost track of Dave. If anyone knows his whereabouts, please drop us a line or get him to do the same!
