so fudog says, "Do you really think DMusic is the independent artist's best chance to be heard?" ...
And I said yes, absolutely -- between the top-20 across each genre and all the other social-networking gizmos like the forums and the shoutbox, even if you're walking into a category with 2000 artists ahead of you or listing your band in an undertravelled venue, everybody has the chance to be heard, the chance to break in to the list and a shot at the top slots, and that's important when you can't afford half-page spreads in the trades. All you need to get in on the game is a song to sing.
And we're singing it.
And that
